Annual Competitions

NYSDPA run two competitions in November (generally last Friday in November) of each year:

Inter-Society Competition
The Cleveland Salver Competition

Awards

Overall Winning Society Trophy – to the Society with the highest aggregate marks for prints AND projected digital images.

Inter-Society Prints Trophy – to the Society with the highest aggregate mark for prints.

Inter-Society Projected Digital Images Trophy – to the Society with the highest aggregate mark for projected digital images.

Individual Projected Digital Images Trophy – to the author of the highest marked projected digital image.

Individual Colour Print Trophy – to the author of the highest marked colour print.

Individual Monochrome Print Trophy – to the author of the highest marked monochrome print.

Club Entries

The Club entries for the respective Inter-Society Trophies consist of six images; that is, six prints and six digital images, which may be colour and/or monochrome..

Prints may be either traditionally (chemically) or digitally produced .

The Club entries cannot consist of more than two prints and two images from any one author.

Deadline

Entries must be submitted at the first meeting of the season (normally the third Friday in October).

Cleveland Salver Competition

This competition is for prints and is open to individual club members. It is held at the same time as, but separate from the Inter-Society Competition.

Each author is permitted to enter a singe print: it may be colour or monochrome.
